Happy 4th of July!

Good afternoon!

Today I will be gifting you all a FREE crochet pattern in honor of this national holiday!

But first, an update on our mascot, Mr. Frodo. He is doing VERY well! he's still taking it slow and not sure about jumping (even though he does it anyway), but he is good. He's flopping on my feet, meowing, purring, fighting his taking meds, and all his other normal kitty antics. I am so happy he seems to be recovering. I was not handling him being sick and not at home very well. But, I am much better now and happy the Frodo is healing.

Now that you know about Frodo, I will tell you a little bit about this free pattern you're about to see. It's a fairly simple pattern, just Treble (or triple) crochets, Double crochets, Single crochets, Slip Stitches, and Chain stitches. The hardest stitch involved is the Treble (Triple) crochet. To Treble (triple) crochet, just yarn over your hook 2 times, insert hook into stitch, yarn over and pull hook through stitch. Then yarn over, pull through 1st 2 loops, yarn over, pull through next 2 loops and yarn over one more time and pull through 2 remaining loops. Easy peasy. I used an acrylic yarn, Loops and Threads Impeccable, which I find to be one of the best feeling, and lasting acrylics out there. It stands up well to washing and toddler handling. Please feel free to make sell the stars from this pattern, but do not sell the pattern or any variations as your own. This is the sole intellectual property of Frodo's Fancies. If you find any issues with the pattern, please feel free to contact me! There will be a pdf version available for sale on Etsy soon!

I created this pattern for my Seasonal Star Garland that I sell in my Etsy shop, Frodo's Fancies.

I will slowly be upgrading the patterns that are already on Etsy to include photos and I plan on uploading more Frodo's Fancies original patterns with photos! I also plan on trying to figure out how to get my patterns for sale on Ravelry. If anyone has any tech expertise in that way please let me know!

I hope everyone has a safe and fun 4th of July!
