Here comes Peter Cottontail!
Good morning!
So our event on Saturday in Cream Ridge, NJ was a bust. I made $17, and I believe the spot was like $25, so it was good it was lose to home so my loses weren't terrible. It just seemed like people didn't want to buy, from anyone. I wasn't the only vendor to do poorly. Apparently there was another building of vendors who packed up super early because they weren't getting sales. Events can be hit or miss, that's just a
fact of life. Hopefully my next event, the Flemington Elks Princess Ball, located at Flemington Elks Lodge #1928, 165 State Route 31, Flemington, New Jersey 08822 . This next event is a hike from my house, so hopefully it'll be worth it.
I'm going to have some new items at my next event which I'm very excited about. I'm going to debut some clothing items, some kid's spring/summer weight shawls/cardigans. The pattern I'm using is not one of my own creation, so here it is for your enjoyment!
I'm using Lion's Brand 24/7 Cotton Yarn for it, which is a slightly thicker weight yarn than the pattern calls for, but is still a thin 4 weight. It's simply what I had lying around, I'm going to start investing in some lighter weight yarns to continue to expand my product base. I also hope to get some adult sizes of clothes going soon. Because here at Frodo's Fancies we crochet whatever we
fancy, and right now I fancy trying my hand at some shirts.
Next week is EASTER! I'm looking forward to seeing my son, who's now almost 3.5, do the Easter Egg hunt at church. Maybe this year he'll actually pick eggs up and not
just stomp on them.
With that said, it's not too late to get your Easter Basket Stuffers! I've got Bunny toys, Crochet Easter Eggs, baby blankets (which are good for more than just babies), and Easter Egg Earrings! So place your orders today!
Now, I bid you all good day, because I have to get ready to take my cat to the Vet...He's having ear wax problems. This should be interesting since I also have to tote the toddler with me.
