Product of the Week

Sorry for not posting a Product of the Week last week... I forgot. I also was not near a computer for most of yesterday so I forgot then as well. Sorry. I have one of the worst memories in the world! Dory is my spirit animal for a very good reason.

Right now I do not have any craft shows planned for the summer. I did, however, have a job interview on Tuesday last week. the job is with the State of NJ with their Division of Environmental Protection as a Resource Interpretive Specialist 1. This position would be a full time, big girl job, at a State Historic Site. I would actually be in charge of the site as it's historian. Which is something I've always wanted to do. I hope I get the job, but at the same time I'm not entirely sure I want to leave my 2.5 year old son in someone else's care. But, my husband and I really need the money...like REALLY. This house thing is expensive, then add 2 car payments, 2 Master's Degrees ( and their accompanying debt), add in groceries and day to day expenses...yeah I really need this job...or for Frodo's Fancies to take a turn for the better. If I were to get a couple sales a week of higher priced items we would be much better off.

This week I have chosen one of my new products, my Lace inspired Crocheted hoop earrings! These are beaded or not beaded.

These beautiful Dangle Hoop Earrings are crocheted using Super Fine (1) weight Merino/ Silk blend yarn. The yarn is Grignasco Knits Merinosilk25 , which is 75% Merino Wool blended with 25% Silk. The hoops and findings are nickel free brass or silver, whichever matches the color of yarn you choose.

The pattern of stitches I used remind me of a spider web or lace.These are so cute and light! The yarn is so delicate and soft that it won't cause the earrings to pull at your lobes at all!These are perfect for a treat yourself gift, Mother's Day, Birthday, Bride's maid gift, Christmas, etc. Really the perfect for anyone in your life that likes light, pretty jewelry.
